I’ve been playing GTA (FiveM) and am only getting around 50-60 fps. My specs are: i7 8700k, 1070Ti, and 16gb ram. Is this normal FPS for this type of PC? Also, looking at CAM which shows temperatures and other data, my CPU is about 40% load and my GPU is around 55%. I also have Streamlabs, CAM, and Discord running in the background. I use Streamlabs only to record gameplay. I tried turning it off but didn’t see a huge difference. I've also turned Vsync off in the settings because that apparently limits FPS to 60. So, is this normal FPS for this type of PC? Should I be getting more?

FPS depends on settings. What resolution and settings are you running on? You should be able to get more FPS at 1080p, but don’t turn up advanced graphics or AA too high.

I checked the settings, and it looks like everything is set to maximum. However, I noticed that the amount of video memory being used isn't nearly half of what’s available – which suggests my PC should be capable of handling these settings without any issues.

Video memory usage doesn't strongly affect how well graphics cards perform. If you’re using a lot of anti-aliasing features, it can significantly reduce your computer’s speed.

Turning down anti-aliasing can definitely make a difference in performance, especially if you’re not super sensitive to visual smoothness. It's worth experimenting with – it might give you a noticeable boost without much of an impact on your visuals.

Well, what is your target framerate?
Turn settings down untill you reach your target framerate.
If settings like aa are maxed out framerate is expected. Gta tries to target 60fps with settings.

try looking at the vsync settings or the triple buffering settings; if it’s enabled, try switching it off/disabling it.

I play a lot of games, and some of them require you to adjust settings like graphics caps and others need you to manually add things like RAM or extra storage.

I play GTA (FiveM) and CS:GO mainly. I adjusted some of the settings, which resulted in 60-70 FPS.

I’m having issues with the ram in GTA, it seems to be capped somehow.
