I tried to give it my all, but it was only half serious. I've used 4-player micro machines on Mega Drive, Goldeneye Mario Kart, Smash Bros on N64, and Timesplitters Future Perfect on PS2 with the multitap adapter. It's a lot of fun at gatherings, and the situations you mentioned fit perfectly.
This involves purchasing and assembling a PC for my nephew, followed by acquiring the desired game for our sessions. That’s what bothers me most—I intend to build him a system eventually. I’m sorry, but efficiency is key. If we can both enjoy the same games on my machine, it’s far better than him having his own setup. NFL Madden and similar sports titles work well together. ... Serious Sam 3 supports that. Why do other titles fall short? I don’t know. Likely the demands aren’t justified as Yolo suggested. In short, LAN gaming is enjoyable when you’re ready. A single off occasion doesn’t justify all the effort. This is what I discovered earlier. Just checking. Thanks.
Absolutely, adding more details would help. I suggest focusing on timeless titles and using an emulator to enjoy vintage games! Consoles seem to understand this better. It appears many AAA companies worry about potential manipulation because the licensing model is so strict.
