What's the speed of all your RAM modules? It's often not mentioned.

Are all connections correct? Are you using one RAM stick or just a single cable to get it to start up? Can you check the CPU on another motherboard? How long have you owned this CPU? Do you have a different Ryzen CPU to test on the board? It seems like the CPU might not be working properly, but without a way to verify I’m not confident enough to say it’s dead or that my other concerns are valid.

Run JEDEC speeds on the unit with a first-gen Ryzen and then adjust frequency and voltage manually until it stabilizes. For the first-gen Ryzen with the LPX, begin at 2666 MHz and tweak to 2400 MHz. While achieving good QVL, the LPX RAM and early Ryzen performance were inconsistent.

Everything is working smoothly, and some friends have checked my configuration. The CPU I’ve been using for about 5 to 6 months is the current one, while the previous model lasted around 3 to 4 years. Both the CPU and the motherboard have changed over time. I can’t try my 1600 on this board because the newest BIOS doesn’t support the first-gen Ryzen. Still, I hope someone with a compatible board can test it out. I assume your long comment means you didn’t reach the conclusion, but right now I’m facing the same problems with a Ryzen 3900X and Ripjaws.

If possible, I’d like to have the CPU checked on a different machine to determine if the problem lies with the processor or just your setup. Either way, I’ll be here and wish you all the best! Someone might have a better solution than I do.

It's a B350 board, and the highest rated speed for that chipset is 2400/2666, though it can vary by manufacturer and design. The top limit is around 3200, similar to how my B450 supports DDR4-6000 under specific conditions like LN2, one core, and cl86 timings.

Ok for clarity's sake here is my current build since there seems to be some confusion around it: MSI Tomahawk MAX II B450 Ryzen 3900x 2x 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws (3600mhz CL18) Corsair Rm750X PSU Gigabyte GTX 1080 Founder's Edition WD Blue 1TB HDD Adata Swordfish 500gb m.2 Sandisk SSD of some sorts Now I've noticed that if I stick one RAM into the two slots furthest from the CPU I get a RAM error, whereas if I stick them to the two slots closest to the CPU, I get a CPU error. Is it possible that my CPU socket is too tight/loose? I have also changed the CMOS battery.
