It's been mentioned countless times... But almost every day I see people like me grumbling about errors or issues with Windows 10. I'm getting tired of having to update multiple times a day—morning and then hours later, it's always outdated. Eventually, I end up doing it 4 or 5 times daily. It's becoming really frustrating. I don't have time for this. Microsoft customer support is completely unreliable. Now they're pushing Edge too... I definitely don't want that. It's time for another company to step in and challenge Microsoft—no hesitation!

I've experienced the blue screen of death twice since the 2004 update. Gaming would have kept me away from this software otherwise. Fedora 32 works fine, even though it isn't ideal—it's free and easier to manage.

It seems the frequent updates aren't necessary and Microsoft doesn't seem to mandate Edge usage. The recent update was disappointing, but it did improve things by replacing IE and the outdated version. Now you can choose to restart your computer instead of forcing updates. Right now, I only have minor issues with Windows 10, mainly around the settings interface, which is still confusing.

You're an embarrassment to the UK with that spelling and grammar. Also, if you're having to update Windows more than once per day, something isn't working as it should.

Consider setting up Fedora 32 on a different storage device...so you can run Linux without gaming? Well, yes, you can still play games on Steam for many titles. I’ve started using it just to refresh my system every six months and remove any issues.

You should avoid getting several updates daily. That suggests either you're making a mistake, your system has a problem, or you're overstating the situation. If you truly have many updates each day, perform an in-place upgrade.

Unclear which version of Windows 10 you're running; updates often happen multiple times daily. Usually I only need a weekly update, and even on a decent machine it usually takes just a couple of minutes.

I’ll be straight with you—Windows 10 has been reliable since its release. You can fully turn off Windows Update using Group Policy Editor for Pro versions or through Services and Registry Editor on Home editions. Many stability problems stem from third-party apps, and shutting down the system during updates isn’t Windows 10’s issue.
