I'm looking for a more affordable option within my £120 budget. The Ryzen 5 3600 is already in hand, so switching to a better B450 board—like the Tomahawk MAX—might be the way to go.

AMD has approved B450 motherboards for compatibility with the fourth generation Ryzen processors. Because these boards deliver solid power output—especially in models like the Tomahawk—gamers will find them highly satisfactory.

I’d prefer the tomahawk Max because it’s been tested and likely offers better performance than the lower-end B550 boards, making it a more affordable choice.

They're significantly more affordable and the DMI 4 offers limited value overall.

It's similar in power output but often more affordable.
