Hi, I just assembled a new PC and started it up for the first time. It took me to the American Megatrends display. I pressed the “del” key and it said “entering setup.” I waited 10-12 minutes and nothing happened, so I looked up how to fix it and found instructions to press “y.” That worked, but then the screen turned grey and no keys responded. I searched for a solution and saw that removing my M.2 SSD would allow it to boot into the BIOS. However, whenever I put the SSD back in, it still shows a grey screen. Please help.

Update your post with complete hardware details and operating system information. Provide the power supply specifications, including voltage, amperage, age, and condition (original, build, refurbished, used). List the disk drive specifications such as make, model, and capacity, along with their current usage. Include a list of all connected peripherals. Specify whether the network connection is wired or wireless.

Review the Boot Order menu within the BIOS settings. It's possible all drives are configured to start from an empty location.
