I never realized desktops had this. It seemed like something for laptops. I'll look into it after my shift!

While playing a game or watching a YouTube video, open Task Manager to identify which processes are consuming all the processing power. At the same time, keep an eye on your CPU and GPU usage to see their current percentages. Also, verify that your memory is running at 3200mhz.

I adjusted the 'Power Plan' to performance mode in League of Legends, set the refresh rate to 165Hz, and noticed no glitches or teleportation issues. I haven't tried it in other games yet—will update you! Thanks.

The GPU is clearly putting pressure on your CPU, and with additional background tasks taxing the CPU further, the CPU won't be able to deliver smooth performance or frame rates when using the GPU.

Greetings!
With all due respect, how am I supposed to be sure that this is a problem with the CPU when my stuff is open and when I check in task manager, it's like maximum usage of CPU is like 30%-40% while I'm experiencing such '' lags ''. ?
It goes around between 30%-40% when I have an online game open ( MMORPG - FPS- MOBA ) and at the same time a YouTube tab playing at 1080p, a blank Google tab, and Discord in the background. When I shut Chrome completely and have a Discord+Game open, it reduces down to 20%-30% CPU usage. I mean, 10% should not make a such huge difference whereas I have like 50% rest of my CPU free.
As it seems, oddly, my system does not support above 40% CPU usage. What happened to my other 60%? Haha.

Hello, it's true that your CPU usage shouldn't hover near 100% most of the time, unless you're doing stress tests or the processor is unusually weak. Keeping an eye on CPU usage isn't a reliable measure for overall performance. For smooth multitasking and gaming, you should ideally have at least double the number of cores and threads your CPU provides, especially if you plan to run additional applications alongside modern games.
