Played it once more yesterday and it was a lot more enjoyable now that missiles can be dodged. I was using my new M50 and noticed it performs very well in turns. Adding some size 1 laser repeaters makes it even better.

It's still pretty solid, actually. The nerf didn't really change much since then. I mostly played it during the free week when it was more accessible. It felt almost unbeatable back then.

I only purchased it recently during the sale period before VAT was applied. However, I've read on the forum that it has been heavily modified. Still, I can move quickly and adjust my direction efficiently without using afterburners.

I remember having one as a temporary Avenger, with extra mounts on top that I could use for Badgers. They eventually ran out of power and didn’t recharge.

The LN provides the second group of mounts that become too hot, but placing longswords on them slows overheating significantly. Most people assume an aurora lacks such intensity, giving you a consistent edge when you approach.

I've noticed some talented aurora players, and I never underestimate them. This game really highlights skill differences when you compete with others. For example, my Delta usually stays ahead or finishes in the top spots even against strong opponents like Super Hornets. On the flip side, I've faced pilots who dominate easily and make it tough for me. Arena Commander is a big favorite for me—it pushes me to get better.
