I upgraded my Diamond Radeon HD 4550 by increasing the GPU voltage from 1.1 volts to 1.190 volts and boosting the core frequency from 600MHz to 780MHz. After discovering a program that allows voltage adjustments, I was limited to around 700MHz and faced issues with artifacts when trying to reach the stock clock of 750MHz. However, based on past experiences, this should be a solid core overclock and I’m seeing good performance improvements in my games. It has remained stable for about ten hours of new Vegas playthroughs.

I plan to share community feedback and detailed benchmarks soon.

My other specs include:
- AMD FX-4300 Black edition OC up to 4.3GHz (potentially higher)
- 8GB Crucial Ballistix Sport at 1333MHz OC up to 1600MHz
- ASUS M5A78L-M motherboard with 760G chipset (though it’s a bit outdated, it functions well)
