Hi Gang. I'm using Windows 10 and have a solid grasp of the tools mentioned: Video Downloader Ultimate V1.0.1.242 Pro, Magix Movie Edit Pro, and Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate.
The software guidelines (including an AI summary) suggest I should be able to download a Facebook file successfully. But when I attempt to import or convert it into these programs, I consistently encounter warnings about missing codecs or bugs.
I've experimented with separating the video and audio before importing them into Magix Movie Edit Pro or other programs, but nothing worked. I haven't submitted a report to Bug Splat because I'm not very sure they'll respond.
I think there might be an issue—either the file is missing, or it's too risky to process with these tools. Could you have any alternative ideas?
Thanks!

The Software Instructions (including an AI Overview) should allow me to download a Facebook file successfully.
Could you confirm if the downloaded file is related to BugSplat? If not, which one is it?
If possible, open "View Report Details" and share any findings via copy or a screenshot.
[Note: Screenshots can be uploaded here using imgur (www.imgur.com > green "New post" icon.)]

Do you have performed any AV or malware scans on the files you downloaded?
Check Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer for error codes, warnings, or related events around the times of failed imports or conversions.
The goal is to identify any missing codecs or other potential issues.

Hello Titan - Thank you and very sorry for the delayed response...
Is BugSplat the origin of this problem?
No
What is the origin?
The origin lies in a converted Facebook Video Download via
Video Converter Ultimate
Can you open "View Report Details"?
See The
Following
My apologies, I couldn't open the image
Have you or did you perform any AV/Malware scans on the file?
Yes, I consistently use Malwarebytes Premium – the file is safe
Reliability History/Monitor and Event Viewer
HERE
By the way:
I spent just a little over a cent on a .99 cent code
that helped fix or prevent the issue with all my other programs
using different video files, except for the downloaded Facebook video.
Thank You!

haven't updated any codec in years.
Check if K-Lite Codec Pack assists.
https://codecguide.com/download_k-lite_c...k_full.htm
==
You might also require VP9 and H.265 (HEVC) from the Microsoft Store
H.264 is included with Windows 10/11

In my mind, the main concern is that even though the downloaded Facebook file might seem fine, it could still contain bugs or be corrupted somehow. It might also be related to Wondershare, possibly because they rushed into the AI trend and the product isn’t perfect. Perform further testing to see if the issue lies with the app or the file. Examine the errors, warnings, and events in Reliability History carefully, and consult more details if needed. The information might not be directly useful but could still be worth checking.
