Hello everyone,
I've been playing on the first PC I ever assembled since around summer 2018 and have been considering a gradual upgrade. The goal is mainly to improve next-generation gaming performance—running graphically demanding games smoothly at 1920x1080 with high settings, possibly moving up to 2560x1440 eventually—but also to handle multitasking without issues, such as browsing, Discord, and a few similar applications at the same time. Since I haven’t made major changes to the system, I thought building from scratch might be the best option. (This new build will likely end up in a family member’s hands once I install a completely new setup.)

If possible, I’d appreciate your input.
Here are my current specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7 8700
Motherboard: Z370 Aorus Ultra Gaming
RAM: 2x KINGSTON HyperX FURY RGB 16GB DDR4 3733MHz (if possible reuse these)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070ti
I can spend up to around $1400 or a bit more depending on the deal.
Monitor: 1920x1080 at 240Hz—no major changes planned.
Overclocking isn’t my priority, and I’m not planning multiple CPUs unless you think I should.
Estimated timeline: maybe by the end of this year?

For storage, I’m looking for a newer PCIe 4.0 SSD and a suitable motherboard. A well-rounded system that lasts 5–8 years would be ideal.
I don’t have strong brand preferences, but I’ve heard the i5 13600k offers great value.
A good Serbian price comparison tool is ePonuda.

Big retailers to consider: Gigatron, Tehnomanija, CTshop.

Anyone have any suggestions or thoughts on what’s important right now? Your opinions matter. (Feel free to share your preferences too.)

I apologize, I've revised my post to include all the necessary details now. I understand our platforms can be difficult to use and the prices aren't ideal for finding solid tech offers, but you have to adapt to what's available. I wrote this mainly to ask for your input on suitable options and whether it's a good time to start building one. Thanks for your response and guidance!

Epunuda is a bad location to purchase parts in Serbia; it's not a regular retailer but a reseller for others. Obtaining warranty is challenging. The most trustworthy sellers are Gigatron, Atom, Monitor, and Viphouse.
