I noticed that too. I wanted to emphasize it’s irrelevant since it’s meant for gaming use. The CPU is around $550, though.
since it might not really matter what you're doing? especially without a powerful GPU to fully use the CPU's power, it's still a decent upgrade but maybe not essential for gaming. at least 3600C14 and 3600C16 offer almost no gaming performance boost, yet the cost gap is massive. ultimately it depends on your needs, but keeping things in line with 3200/3600 is usually safer. regarding frequency, I usually stick to 3200 or 3600. pushing too high with Ryzen can be risky, affecting stability more than speed, and personally I think 3200 RAM works fine and gives better chances for dual-rank setups.
It's really surprising how much extra you pay just to move from 3600 CL16 to 3600 CL14. Probably not worth it unless you're working with a lot of memory usage (unless you're not gaming). Still, you'd likely be better off with higher clocked RAM rather than super tight timings, so it's hard to pinpoint the ideal audience.
