I'm a little worried about my computer because of something called Ryzen Master.
I put together this thing about a month ago. I had some small problems with the cooling, but nothing that stopped me from using it. Yesterday, I watched a video showing how Ryzen Master can automatically overclock the system to get better performance while keeping temperatures low and fan speeds down. I turned on that auto-overclock feature and said it was stable. Since then, my computer started freezing up randomly or shutting itself off when I tried playing games. I tried four different games and it kept happening every single time. I took out Ryzen Master and reset the BIOS by taking out the CMOS battery. Even though I did all of that, the problem is still there. It's scary because I'm worried something might have broken. Also, looking at HWInfo64 tells me the CPU isn't getting crazy hot enough to cause a crash. Here are my parts: A 3400g processor, an Asus B450M Gaming Plus motherboard with Wraith Spire cooling, two sticks of 8GB memory running at 3200MHz (Ripjaws), and a 550W 80+ power supply. I don't know the brand of my power supply or storage drives, but I have an M.2 drive holding my operating system and some games, followed by a 2TB hard drive. If you need more details, feel free to ask.
It feels good if you can tell whether something is nice without checking its brand or specific type, right?
The cables are all black and they weren't super cheap. I thought it cost about sixty dollars at my local store. Also, I'm sure you'd have more than enough if you add the 550w part to your system; that power shouldn't be a problem.
You're my buddy, we're on the same ship. I already did what you did, so it's starting to happen again for me too... I hope I could have helped you before!
