Following my system's assembly, I successfully installed Windows 10. However, upon establishing a network link, the system identified connectivity, yet searching for updates resulted in a blank display. The machine appeared to be operating normally, but the screen remained unresponsive. After the motherboard identification sequence, powering on the device displayed the logo, and I could access the BIOS. If the system did not automatically initiate into the BIOS immediately following this initial display, it would then revert to a black screen. What occurred?

Let's start with the full system specs including brand and model.
How did you install Windows and from what source?

Goodness, that happened remarkably fast. I need to investigate this once my shift concludes.
MSI motherboard B450M
AMD Ryzen 5 1600 with a heatsink
Radeon RX 570 graphics card
Eight gigabytes of memory, double the amount
Solid-state drive for storage

The operating system Windows was installed using a portable storage device. Specifically, it was Windows 10 Professional.
