I meant it was significantly underpowered, not just a little bit.
It seems the price has changed recently. I’m not familiar with those titles, and it’s unclear if more cores are necessary. It doesn’t meet the minimum specs for Hello Neighbor. They mentioned an i5—four cores and much faster. The other two should work fine. Minecraft needs a patch to run properly, but I can’t recall its name anymore... old age... Around $250 to $275 in real life is all it’s worth.
I've spent a lot of time playing Minecraft and can tell you it demands a strong CPU with multiple cores. With your budget, you're lucky to find a hyper-threaded dual-core processor. I recommend at least the G4560 and a GTX 1050 Ti. You wouldn't want an AMD card, as my friend's RX470 performs poorly in the game.
