Hey after a while I almost lose track of everything about PC. I remember planning to get an RGB case like Lian Li Lancool 215 or 216 with an RGB controller for my motherboard. My Asus Rog Strix B550-F is a gaming model. How do I find out if my motherboard supports it? I’m really confused and don’t know the right steps.

Ensure there is a USB 2 header available; verify if you have an additional one. You'll also require a SATA power connector from the PSU.

Wait? Discord replied you have two headers, but now you're asking which one. Are you using Gen2? Did I mix things up? Then you don't need a header—just check the A or B header for your Lian Li 216 case. For the SATA + cable setup, confirm the correct header type.

The board features just one addressable header, whereas the remaining two rely on aura sync technology, requiring specialized software.

You need to purchase an item to operate it. Consider alternatives to software like Image that you can use instead.
