Only works when the monitor is connected to the CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7800x3D 8 Core Processor. Motherboard model is ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-F Gaming. GPU is AMD RX 7900XTX with 24GB RAM. Currently running Windows 11 with three monitors—two display ports and one HDMI—but it freezes if any monitor is plugged into the graphics card. Boots successfully only with a single display connected to the motherboard. This PC was purchased from Paradox Customs, brand new, about two weeks ago.
Not sure if this will assist or if you've encountered something similar before, but here it is. How to link three monitors to a computer. Make sure to also verify your BIOS settings and consult any guidance from the manufacturer. Using a dedicated GPU versus the built-in one in the chip can sometimes cause issues; the board may require you to utilize its own capabilities instead of what you prefer. That's why I recommend checking reference materials from both the board's manufacturer and AMD for details or suggestions about the problem.
Can you test the card on another PC to verify it's not defective? AMD recommends a minimum PSU of 800 watts. I think a 750-watt unit should work too, but if your system has many other power-hungry components, it might lack sufficient energy.
