As mentioned, avoid downloading anything suspicious from questionable websites or visiting them. Ensure you're using SSL for security.

I’m planning to set up a personal screenshot hosting service, similar to prnt.sc and gyazo, and likely working on a few smaller projects I haven’t finalized yet.

While reading this, I wasn't certain they still offered IIS. I haven't heard any mention of it since 2005. Most people don't use it as a server anymore. It likely doesn't hold much market share. It works well for personal use, but... wow.

Some folks continue to rely on... Primarily for trading, though it remains in practice.

Many companies rely on IIS for old internal applications, while new vendor apps are often imposed by management. If you're planning to create a DMZ, consider placing your personal devices behind solutions like PFSense. This provides each device its own internal NAT, routing traffic separately to the server location, and also handles firewall functions.
