IGPU and RAM Missing
IGPU and RAM Missing
After adjusting and fine-tuning my overclocks, I experienced a stability crash. After rebooting, the system began to hang and failed to show the standard "Overclock failure! Hit F1 to setup bios" notification. Once I flashed and reset the CMOS, I managed to return to the BIOS. However, now I’m missing all iGPU controls and there’s no 8GB of RAM available in the collection. The BIOS recognizes the SPD (DIMM_A1, DIMM_A2, DIMM_B1, DIMM_B2) and shows a memory size of 16324MB, but the system only reports 8GB of RAM. It displays the BIOS summary screen, yet I can’t proceed further. Also, I’m unable to set my multiplier beyond 34.
This situation is unusual—I’ve never encountered an overclock failure that also disables the iGPU and removes half of the RAM. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I’ve been working on the machine right now; it functions properly, but the components aren’t responding as expected.
Specs:

verify the ram qual list for your storage. the z77 i possess one, but i had to replace my gskills since the mb wouldn't post with them. with a few dimms, this mb can only run 2 sticks of ram using the new bios. some only support three, and a few have all four installed. if there are timing problems, the mb might be reading just half of your ram sticks. another possibility is that the memory controller on the cpu has failed or stopped working.
I ran Intel's Diagnostic tool and it returned a fail. So there is definitely something wrong with the chip. Sending for RMA.
After adjusting and fine-tuning my overclocks, I experienced a stability crash. After rebooting, my system began to hang and did not show the standard "Overclock failure! Hit F1 to setup bios" message on post, or at all. After flashing and resetting the CMOS, I was able to return to the BIOS. However, now I am missing all iGPU controls and there is a reported missing 8GB of RAM in the collection. The SPD is detected by the BIOS (I can see DIMM_A1, DIMM_A2, DIMM_B1, DIMM_B2), and CPUZ shows a memory summary of 16324MB. Despite this, the system only displays 8GB of RAM. Additionally, I cannot set my multiplier higher than 34. I have never encountered an overclock failure that caused both iGPU disablement and loss of half the RAM. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Also, I have tested all the RAM sticks and each slot individually, and everything functions correctly.
I currently have the same issue with my ASRock Z77 Extreme 3.
Any help?
