It's because Linux Mint runs smoothly on any available disk, no matter the device. For you, it feels natural since you're comfortable with newer systems. Others might face issues due to outdated software or frequent updates. Switching environments shouldn't cause trouble. Using Linux keeps things consistent and reliable. Windows desktops often change rapidly, making them less stable over time.

I frequently encountered the Blizzard battle.net crash when logging into WoW, a recurring issue across all distributions after an update. It seems unrelated to my Linux setup. Also, I can't run Adobe products, which is essential for my work. This makes using Linux challenging. Outside of that, for basic internet browsing, typing, and simple tasks, it works well.

Def will give another go with Linux again when the build is finished. Don't really game much these days so the only thing left is to see how well it worls for Blender and multi GPu. If it could function decently with Ableton that would be amazing too.

I haven't used multi-GPU configurations, but I rely on Blender frequently and it functions smoothly!
