Identifying the persistent RAM problem and potential memory leak.
Hello everyone, I’m facing a recurring problem with my computer’s RAM consumption that hasn’t been fixed. Despite having 32GB of RAM, the usage has steadily climbed to around 98-99%, which caps at approximately 3.1GB. This significantly affects system performance, causing it to slow down and become unstable.
System specifics: RAM 32GB | OS: Windows 11 23H2 (latest as of Feb 15, 2024) | Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D | Steps taken: RAMMap analysis, Resource Monitor check, malware scan, Windows Memory Diagnostic.
Resource usage shows the memory in use consistently near 30GB, which is unusually high. The idle memory level seems normal. No particular app or process stands out as the cause, and the issue worsens gradually over time, not immediately after a restart. All drivers are up to date, and I’ve reinstalled Windows, but the problem continues even when running minimal applications.

A) Set up ISLC, follow the guidelines, verify success
B) Download Windows 10 from the provided link
ISLC is the top choice. By the way, even though it seems like a Windows problem, it’s more likely a BIOS issue. So, opting for a different motherboard with a reliable BIOS could be another viable path. While this is typical behavior, it would still be valuable to understand which processes consume the most RAM.
Setting up Windows 10 isn't possible because many of the programs I need are only for Windows 11. I cleaned my backup memory using ISLC, but it showed up as free memory and left me with just a few gigabytes, which then returned to standby mode.
