I need to activate the PC without using the front panel connectors because the original ones are damaged. I connected the green cable from the power supply to ground to turn on the PSU, which caused the PC to start but not boot properly—fans spun nonstop, no audio from speakers, and nothing appeared on the screen. I tested everything on another motherboard, confirmed all components work. After leaving it for a while, the board got warm slightly, indicating some activity. Did I do something wrong by directly connecting the PSU without proper steps, or is there another issue with the Mobo?
