You're experiencing high GPU usage while your CPU stays around 40% across games like Minecraft, Warzone, and Destiny 2. This suggests the GPU is the limiting factor rather than just high settings. Your plan to upgrade to a 12th-gen 12700K with DDR5 sounds reasonable, though you might hit GPU constraints later. The PCPartPicker link can help you find compatible components. It's worth noting that setting up such a system can be time-consuming and costly.

I strongly dislike the idea of a bottleneck and notice how often it's misinterpreted. When your GPU is fully utilized and performance matches expectations, that’s ideal. Your GPU is handling everything smoothly, feeding data and running at peak speed. A quicker GPU should give you better results. The opposite is usually problematic and feels frustrating in gameplay.

I was mainly discussing upcoming improvements. Right now I’m mainly waiting until the 40-series release before making any changes, and I’d likely upgrade the GPU, CPU, and MOBO together.
