Identifying problems with 6750XT artifacts and unexpected game crashes
I've experienced problems with my new 6750xt for nearly six months now. While most games run smoothly when launching, after about 15 to 20 minutes I start noticing artifacts—black lines appearing across the screen that make gameplay difficult. I’ve ruled out thermal issues since the GPU was stable during a thermal profile and hotspots were within normal limits. I’ve also performed multiple driver updates and tried older versions, but nothing resolved the problem. The UEFI settings showed the GPU as fully stocked with no overclocking or underclocking. Occasionally, the GPU stops sending signals entirely, though the PC continues to run normally. I can troubleshoot by restarting from CMD, but the GPU just fails completely. My specs include 32GB DDR4 RAM, a B460M processor, an Intel Core i5-10400F, and it runs on a 1TB NVMe drive. The Windows install is on a 256GB SATA drive, with some random files stored on a 2TB HDD. The power supply is 750 watts, and the PC uses a surge protector. My GPU is an AMD 6750XT purchased directly from the manufacturer—everything seems to be correct. I’m really confused and would really appreciate any advice.
Sure, I just tweaked the undervolting settings and it's working great now. I'll let you know if the card fails later.
