Identifying issues with the Bluescreening PC and memory errors.
The memory test divides the RAM so that one-sixth runs on each CPU core, with the problematic core highlighted. If the issue stays on core 4 repeatedly, it may point to a CPU fault; otherwise, it suggests a faulty RAM or IMC, with RAM being the more probable culprit.
It's running its third iteration, though the second one also failed on Core 4. I'm holding off on the remaining two to check for consistency. Frustrating since it would mean another 8th Gen Intel chip is needed.
Yeah, that's what I plan to do. I need to pull the CPU cooler off to swap out the RAM (tight fitting machine lol)
To wrap up this article, I started checking each RAM module individually and found one clearly defective. After using MemTest with just that stick, it produced numerous failures. I decided to purchase a replacement set, hoping it would resolve the issue. Thanks to all who shared their experiences!
