Based on the manual, the connection port for your M.2 drive doesn’t affect the SATA SSD choice. You can use either M2A (PCIe 3.0) or M2B (PCIe 2.0), depending on what suits your needs.

Consider removing that option and avoid altering the SATA ports. The new cable didn't make a difference.

Reflecting on this, I might revisit it tomorrow. Are there any other games outside of Steam? Do they encounter problems? What graphics card is connected and are the software updates current?

yep,my bad. I have the Gigabyte Gaming OC version and a GoodRam cx400 512GB ssd for my games.Everything is up to date,i disabled Link State power management and Ive already set everything to high performance.Firmware is up to date,my Bluetooth and WiFi drivers are straight from Intel.i changed the Sata cable aswell..didnt change the port though but i dont think its a hardware issue.. Also,im sorry for the late response.
