Hey everyone, I'm facing a long-standing audio issue with my PC. It causes popping and crackling sounds whenever I run it under stress. The problem starts mild but gets worse over time. Playing games makes it even more noticeable, even after closing the game or restarting the system. My hardware specs are: Aorus B450 Pro, Ryzen 3700X, GTX 970, Corsair Vengeance 3600MHz, 16GB RAM, EVGA SuperNOVA graphics, 750W power supply, Windows 10 (version 2004). I tried a new SSD to check for driver issues, but that didn’t help. I’ve updated chipsets and drivers, watched many YouTube guides, adjusted settings like Enhancements and LatencyMon, yet the problem remains. Some forums suggested it might be related to voltage, but they didn’t give clear steps. I’m using the default BIOS profile with RAM set to its standard setting, but still experience pops and stutters. Recently switching from a 600W PSU to a 750W SuperNOVA didn’t fix it either. My GTX 970 worked fine on my old board too, so it’s probably not the main cause. I’m getting really frustrated and hope someone can help. Thanks for your time!

It seems like interference might be affecting your device since purchasing the Aorus B450 Pro. Have you noticed this problem consistently?

I've tested various ports for the headset, but nothing changes the outcome. It works smoothly with my PS4 and doesn't cause issues. The popping sound also occurs when using the built-in monitor speakers.

If you have a headset with a USB dongle try and use that. If there's interference in the motherboard there shouldn't be a problem with the headset that uses USB.

The only alternative I have in mind right now is purchasing an inexpensive USB to 3.5mm jack adapter and trying it out.

I only have one other headset, an old turtle beach that emitted a lot of electrical noise, making it hard to distinguish. The one I currently use is new and worked well on the previous motherboard. Changing my Ethernet cable helped a bit, but I’m wondering if there might be an issue with the LAN connection itself.
