Identifying issues in Warzone/Multiplayer/games with severe lag, stuttering, or packet loss.
So I'm experiencing the worst lag ever in multiplayer and Warzone, including the lobby. The game slows down significantly when I interact with others or anything. I have a good internet connection and recently upgraded to a new Ethernet cable just in case. I rebooted the router. This issue began after the latest update, but I’m wondering if it might be related to my hardware. I’ve tried many of the suggestions people give on YouTube, but nothing seems to work. I actually think the problem could be getting worse. It’s not just this game—I also face packet loss in almost any game that puts a strain on my PC. I’m running it in high performance mode, adjusted graphics settings, used Exit Lag, QuickCPU, and everything else recommended. Drivers are up to date, and Windows is fine. Sometimes my whole system crashes, but I haven’t had any issues with COD until the last night. I downloaded Escape from Tarkov, which crashed my PC, followed by a COD update that made it unplayable.
Here are my specifications:
Ryzen 7 1700 8 core 16 thread processor, XFX Reference RX 480 8gb graphics, 16gb (2x8gb) DDR4 Corsair LX Pro RAM, MSI B350M Gaming Pro motherboard, 500gb S700 HP SSD, and EVGA 600B 80+ Bronze PS.
I’ve attached some images from afterburner showing the GPU percentage fluctuating between 0% and 100% and then settling around 68%. If anyone has any insights or help, it would be really appreciated.

Follow these instructions carefully:
Disconnect from the internet.
Remove the GPU driver DDU by cleaning it thoroughly and avoiding a restart.
Uninstall all processors via Device Manager (ensure there are 16, and when prompted for restart, select no).
Restart the PC to BIOS and update to the most recent BIOS version.
After updating, return to BIOS and set default or optimized settings.
Launch Windows and install the newest AMD Chipset driver without rebooting.
Open Command Prompt and execute the following commands:
ipconfig /release
Enter
ipconfig /flushdns
Press Enter
ipconfig /renew
Press Enter
netsh int ip reset
Press Enter
netsh winsock reset
Press Enter
Close Command Prompt, reboot, restart your router, and select the power plan “AMD Ryzen Balanced.” Connect to the internet.
Optional: For IPv4 DNS, adjust network settings to 1.1.1.1 (primary) and 1.0.0.1 (secondary).
For IPv6, use 2606:4700:4700::1111 for primary and 2606:4700:4700::1001 for secondary.
Install the latest Radeon driver.
Continue all steps offline until you reboot after installing the chipset driver. If using two sticks, ensure the RAM is installed in slots 2 and 4.
Download required files before proceeding to step 1.
Check for Windows updates (and optional ones) and install them except for the chipset update. Enable Hardware Accelerated Graphics Scheduling in graphics settings (available in the latest Windows 10 update). Reboot as instructed.
