Recently everything seemed normal, but I played Warzone 2.0 and experienced brief GPU glitches with noticeable artifacts. My PC froze during the game menu, rebooting itself. I noticed GPU issues on both the boot screen and desktop, even though I used a 1440p monitor. The resolution was capped at 1920x1080. After restarting, everything worked again. I ran stress tests with Prime95 and Realbench, which caused more reboots and artifacts—especially in the WZ 2.0 menu or while gaming. In Realbench, I encountered a Luxmark error suggesting GPU trouble, and in Prime95’s Blend test, errors appeared. During these tests, I saw two blue screens: one labeled "CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT" pointing to CPU problems, and another "VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR" indicating GPU issues. It seems both components might be failing simultaneously. I’m considering a new power supply, suspecting the motherboard could be the culprit. I haven’t run a memtest yet because I don’t have a USB stick for installation. My GPU temperature stayed around 67-69°C, while CPU peaked at 83°C during Prime95 stress tests (CPU reached about 75°C). I tried downclocking my GPU using MSI Afterburner, lowering core and memory clocks to max, but still got artifacts in Realbench. I also reduced GPU voltage via MSI afterburner and adjusted CPU settings, yet artifacts persisted. My goal is to identify the exact cause—whether it’s another GPU or a failing motherboard. I’m attempting to add an extra GPU to see if that resolves the problems. My current specs are: ASUS Z170 PRO GAMING board, Intel Core i7 6700K @4.5 GHz (OC’d for two years), Corsair 16GB DDR4 2666MHz Vengeance LPX, Palit GeForce RTX 2080 Ti GamingPro OC 11GB, old PSU (EVGA Supernova 750 G2), new PSU (Corsair RM750x). I haven’t performed a memtest yet due to lack of a USB stick. The CPU reached its maximum temperature around 83°C during Prime95 testing, while the GPU stayed near 67-69°C. I’m seeking advice on what might be malfunctioning and how to confirm it.

Avoid making a hasty decision. Run a test using Passmark Memtest86. Identify the faulty RAM module, whether it's the memory itself.
