I’ve gotten quite accustomed to using that awkward website for music downloads. Whenever I do, it prepends its name to every file. For example, Song A becomes “stupidsite.com - Song A.mp3” and Song B turns into “stupidsite.com - Song B.mp3.” If you need to strip out the domain entirely, there’s probably a way to clean the filenames without manual work.
Use yt-dlp to extract the best audio and save it as mp3. Adjust the output format and remove channel details if needed. For renaming multiple files at once, consider PowerToys or a similar tool like PowerRename.
I rely on yt-dlp but find it overly complicated for small tracks. The website only lets you paste a link and download; even renaming files manually each time would save time. PowerToys could help with the many files I’ve already saved. Getting it now.
