I really enjoy RE5 a lot, especially if you see it as a solid co-op action game to play with a friend. I was quite disappointed by Force Unleashed 2, most of the NFS titles, Fear 3, Dragon Age 2, and Devil May Cry 2—though I’m sure there are even more to mention.
The main change was that Bioshock 2 largely removed the open world and many RPG features from the original. The gun selection was also quite poor. Still, it's not a terrible game—it's manageable and the story is quite compelling. The ability to use dual wielding for plasmids and weapons is a key feature. Adapting to this system makes playing the original quite challenging.
In my view, Tony Hawk's Project 8 damaged the entire series.
