I'm talking a great game that got remade or had a sequel that just sucked absolute shit. Resident evil 5 I'm looking at you. Any ones you can think of? Was the game so bad you now never preorder?
Bioshock 2 had some issues, though the plot was intriguing. The gameplay fell short compared to the original. Postal 3 was a major letdown. I didn’t reserve any of these titles, just bought them at a low cost. I usually don’t preorder media since I can’t gauge their quality.
Borderlands the pre-sequel had a lot of Borderlands 2, but I expected more of the same. The level design felt weak and there was no clear endgame or raid bosses. Overall, the game's balance has gotten better with DLC and fixes, though it still isn't as strong as before.
Civilization: Beyond Earth was surprisingly lacking, offering minimal improvement over Civilization V. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed was decent, with Force Unleashed 2 being enjoyable and more engaging, though I’d prefer it to be longer.
The latest CoD didn't meet expectations for the campaign, but I remain optimistic about a Ghost sequel.
