Hello everyone, I'm planning to switch from my 6-year-old Coolermaster 240 Lite AIO to an Arctic Liquid Freezer 280. This might require adjustments on other parts if it fits properly. I have a Fractal Design Meshify 2 compact lite and want to mount it on top, but the CPU power connector on my MSI X570 Gaming Edge has caused issues with mounting the 240 on top (just got the case recently). Mounting it front makes the GPU fans spin too loud. Do any X570 mounts allow me to swap the Gaming Edge out so the CPU connectors are elsewhere? Or should I try mounting the freezer first and then consider a 360 Rad setup?
There are options available, though the most familiar ones I recall are boards such as the Crosshair VIII Impact and the X570 Dark. These fit only in specific situations, are extremely costly, and may cause more problems than they solve for your setup. It’s wiser to invest in a better case with improved airflow, like the Lian Li Lancool 216, or mount the AIO directly.
