Identify problems with system memory.
I previously used a Ryzen 3 2200G, Asrock B450M-HDV, and 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws V 2666 RAM. I experienced random memory issues and screen freezes, so I upgraded to 16GB Ballistix Sport 3200 RAM. Since then, those problems are gone. I still have those old dimmers and consider selling them, though I’m worried they might be bad and can’t test them. Is there a simple way to check for faulty memory?
Huh. So you think something is still wrong with that old ram? or there was some other issue? I'll have to look into it more.
Yes, you can prepare a bootable memtest86 USB drive, install your existing RAM, and perform an overnight test to detect any memory issues.
