The dirt on your motherboard might be affecting the boot process. Try using a mild rubbing alcohol or a vinegar-water solution if you don’t have isopropyl alcohol. Avoid harsh chemicals that could damage the components.

How did this material arrive? Did it leave behind any remnants?

Flux residue or... - Thermal pads leaking or... - Chock residue or... - No capacitor leakage, they're solid or... - Delamination layer leaking heat, heat pipe damaged... - And that's it. Request a refund.

It sounds like you're concerned about the device not working properly. Since you bought it without testing it first, you might want to attempt a cleaning to see if that resolves the issue.

Do you have any warranty? Consider requesting a refund. Please avoid using it until you confirm you can claim the warranty, or receive a replacement card or full refund.

I purchased it secondhand, and they told me it hadn't been tested and had been in their closet for about a year or two.

Inquire about a refund for the faulty mobile you received. If it doesn’t function, gather flux cleaner, alcohol, and a screwdriver. Replace the thermal pads and check for leaks in two areas—likely a short circuit in the thermal pad. There’s an error code displayed; what hexadecimal value appears?

I purchased it without trying it first, so I’m not sure if they’ll issue a refund. Still, I might attempt it. Appreciate your assistance!

It seems a VRM or MOSFET failed and exposed its internal components. Since you purchased it without testing, it's unlikely they'd accept a return or warranty claim—so you bought it "As Is." The positive news is it can be repaired. If you're skilled with soldering, using proper tools and the correct replacement part, you could handle the fix yourself as a DIY project.
