Hey! Your setup looks solid for gaming, but let's check the bottleneck. The Ryzen 5 3600 runs at 3.6GHz, while your GPU (RTX 2060) is around 1060MHz. That should be enough unless you're doing heavy ray tracing or high refresh rates.

If you boost the CPU to 4.2GHz, it might help slightly, but the GPU is still likely the limiting factor. Upgrading the GPU to an RTX 2060 would give you more headroom, and then you could consider a CPU upgrade later if needed. OC the CPU isn't usually worth it unless you're targeting extreme performance.

What feels best depends on your budget and gaming needs—balance is key! Let me know what you decide. 😊

Additionally, I’m using a 16GB DDR4 RAM with a clock speed of 3200MHz.

varies by game, but run-time metrics show your usage. If the GPU stays at full capacity all the time, you can pinpoint the limitation. I’d think it’s likely the weak point because the CPU is powerful, while the GPU usually manages most of the workload, making it a typical bottleneck. I’m still using a Sandy Bridge CPU.

For instance in Forza Horizon 4 I see consistent 100fps at ultra on 1080p resolution. However, the performance chart indicates the GPU runs at just 15% usage while the CPU stays around 45%. In HWMonitor it shows the GPU at full capacity and the CPU hovering between 50-55%.

Initially the task manager isn't always perfect. Most of the 1060 shouldn't cause the CPU to bottleneck, and the 3600 pairs well with the 1060 plus. From my experience with Forza Horizon, it's not a CPU-intensive game, so consider titles that challenge both CPU and GPU like GTA V if available.

I also enjoy Escape From Tarkov, Battlefield V, Shadow of Tomb Raider. I haven't noticed its use in these titles yet, but I plan to check GTA V as well. Thanks a lot for your response!
