Because of the fluctuating exchange rates, I can't afford to purchase a new storage unit or cloud backup service unless they're extremely inexpensive.
Check if Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. work locally. Even with limited free plans, you can join all and manage your storage. (If privacy is a concern, encrypt files in a password-protected folder before uploading.) Regarding alternatives like BackBlaze or the unused 32GB drive, you don’t need to back up files you can quickly replace, so large backup spaces aren’t necessary.
After installing the original SSD driver, it seems everything is in great shape. I might also experiment with spreading things out. The 32GB is an SD card, while the 240GB holds games and hobbies, leaving no room for backups there.
It would be fascinating to observe CrystalDiskInfo displaying this storage device. The readings can occasionally appear distorted because they’re not always reported straightforwardly. More troubling is the fact that if the reported writes and uptime are accurate, you’d need to be maintaining around 10GB per hour of operation, which seems unusually demanding. You’re well beyond half of its rated endurance.
I spend a lot of time playing games and working with AI, which could explain the 10GB/hour usage. I’m currently offline, but I’ll add CDI logs later.
