I’ve checked all possible solutions. The memory slots a_1 and a_2 light up but aren’t recognized by the BIOS. I rearranged all four sticks, reset the CMOS, removed the battery for ten minutes, and kept two sticks in their original positions. A yellow error light appeared. I’m unsure what else to try. Your system specs are listed in your profile—please share more details if you’d like further guidance. It should boot into Windows but only in single-channel mode with 16GB and 32GB partitions.

It seems like the issue might be due to poor memory, faulty slots in the motherboard (likely), or insufficient CPU pressure, which could prevent proper communication with the slots. Try this first.

It functioned properly before suddenly turning black, with no motherboard indicator lighting up. After that, the connections stopped working. I plan to clean it using alcohol wipes, but it feels unusual.

I have decided to buy a new motherboard and hope that works. Is there any chance it could be the cpu? Asking for a friend. I have had this computer for just over a year. I’m just praying this will fix it. @Whiro

It’s probably not a CPU issue. The most likely cause is a faulty motherboard. Did you check the pressure from the heatsink on the CPU?

I completely reworked the entire thought and added a fresh paste. The problem kept happening. Apologies for not letting you know earlier. Thanks for your assistance! If you have any last-minute ideas to try, I have plenty of time. My new motherboard should arrive by the 16th. I got the ROG Maximus Hero, mainly because of the built-in CMOS button and WiFi. But I'm just getting started.
