My main screen supports 165Hz while the secondary runs at 143.998Hz. Both models share identical configurations in both the built-in monitor settings and the NVIDIA control panel. I’m puzzled as to why the secondary display isn’t listed as 165Hz, even though the primary does work. I’m curious if there’s a reason or solution to this issue. It’s not an urgent matter, but it’s been bothering me and I haven’t found any guidance or fixes.

Details: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6GHz, 8-core, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Super, 8GB RAM, MSI MEG x570 ACE ATX AM4, 2x 8GB G.Skill Trident Z, 16GB DDR4-3600, Intel 660p Series, 1.02TB NVMe M.2, 650W 80+ Gold ATX power supply, running Windows 10 Home.

General advice for boosting performance and optimizing my setup would be appreciated. If you know the specs, feel free to share tips on BIOS adjustments or similar settings.

Not a display specialist, but it might relate to specific cables not supporting 165Hz. Unless both monitors use the same cable...

Ensure 165 Hz is activated in the monitor settings on that device before it shows up as an option.

I completely overlooked this option, corrected it right away thanks to you! Using the monitor menu was really frustrating.
