Of course, prebuilds offer certain benefits, yet they come with more drawbacks in my opinion. I really question the necessity of a high-HZ monitor. Also, consider adding extra storage if required. What improvements are you looking for? A stronger CPU or GPU? These are typically sufficient on their own. I haven’t worked with video editing much, but over the past few years I’ve been exploring hardware options, and recently the "gold middle" setup was an 8-core CPU paired with something like an RTX 3060. Sure, more powerful components can help, but the gains aren’t always significant enough to justify the cost for most people. Money is easy to spend, but getting your investment back is much harder. Just naming it usually leads you to spend more.
