Hello, I’m trying to figure out which RAM to get for the Ryzen 5600X. I’m not sure if a 3600MHz CL16 or a 4000MHz CL19 is better. I’m not very familiar with RAM, and in my country there aren’t many options. Could someone help me pick the best value for the price? I’m looking for something around the middle budget, not too expensive or too cheap. Thanks a lot!

It really comes down to the specific RAM model you have. If it's a budget GSKill kit, avoid it since it likely won't reach XMP speeds. For beginners, aim for a good mix of speed and latency—like 3200 MHz with CL 14 or 3600 MHz with CL 16. A 3200 MHz setup at CL 14 works similarly, and you're more likely to get a stable 3200 MHz CL 14 on your CPU compared to trying 3600 MHz CL 16. Unless you need a significant performance boost, stick with either option.

Here are some options you can consider without needing setup or configuration. These models are reliable and widely used:

- Patriot Viper Steel Series 16GB KIT DDR4 4000Mhz CL19 PC4-32000
- Patriot Viper Steel Series 16GB KIT DDR4 3600Mhz CL17 PC4-28800
- G.SKILL 16GB KIT DDR4 3600MHz CL16 Trident Z PC4-28800
- G.SKILL 16GB KIT DDR4 3200MHz CL14 Trident Z PC4-25600

These should work well for your needs and require minimal effort. Let me know if you want more details!
