Hi, I recently upgraded my PC and after picking components, the owner advised keeping the old parts. The original system had a 7700k socketed motherboard paired with a single cheapest 8GB RAM stick and an 1050Ti processor—quite an unusual setup. Now I own a 1050Ti with a 6-pin connector. After some research, it seems similar models are priced almost the same as the more expensive 1060-3G (the most costly 1050Ti with high IO). I’m curious about what benefits this configuration offers beyond the 75W PCIe power limit. I’ve tried various settings, but it’s stable enough. I didn’t change the core voltage and don’t want to risk damaging the card. Memory was set at 1000MB and core voltage at +250, which worked well in most games. What setup and benchmarks should I consider?

I also own a 1050TI and want to check if it can be overclocked, trying to find out the possible improvement. I've installed MSI Afterburner and experimented with various settings before using the OC button in the upper left corner to run tests, which now show confidence levels after completion. Could you tell me what a suitable confidence level would look like? Also, I'm unsure about the 6 pin power connector—didn't think the 1050TI needs one since it doesn't require over 75 Watts? I have a 6 pin and an 8 pin (6+2) from my PSU that aren't currently in use.
