Hey! I've been checking out various hardware options and thought it would be good to discuss this. I'm searching for a setup that can run a MySQL database alongside multiple Minecraft servers connected via a bungee cord proxy. I'm expecting heavy usage, so I need powerful components with plenty of cores, threads, and memory. I've been looking at top-tier Ryzen CPUs, Intel Threadripper 3960X, and Intel Xeon processors, but I'm still unsure which one to choose. Which platform should I go with? Thanks!

What is your budget? Which country are you from? You’ll likely want a 5950x. But if you really leverage 32 cores, the 7551 is a great choice.

You're in the USA with a budget focused on savings. Ryzen is more affordable, so buying multiple units might make sense if you need more capacity. If you reach that point, a Threadripper could be a better choice for performance.

Consider the options carefully. A 5950x offers more resolution, while 5900x or 3900x are still viable depending on your needs.

No changes, only about ten plugins are active on Purpur. I’m hoping for 1 to 10 players per session, but I’m ready if it grows to 50 to 100 users.
