Only officially supported by Windows 10 is available for the Pi2, while unofficially, developers have been adapting and running Windows on the Raspberry Pi for years simply because it works.

Executing on an emulator isn't considered a porting activity.

It's not just mimicking... Windows (pre XP) actually supported ARM processors, though performance was poor. Look at Windows CE instead.

MHO Archlinux for Arm performs excellently on the Pi. My current configuration functions smoothly. (If you're familiar with SSH/Shell)
1. Samba + NFS4
2. Deluge Daemon
3. Minidlna Server (Audio/Video/Pictures to all DLNA devices)
4. Nginx + PHP-FM
5. vsFTP
6. systemd.timer rsync backup of all networked PCs running continuously for 10 months without issues.

You're experiencing issues with Raspbian setup, especially with software compatibility. For web browsing and video playback, consider using lightweight browsers like Firefox with extensions that work well on low-resource systems, or try VLC with a minimal configuration. Installing alternative media players such as Jellyfin or using a dedicated media server can also help.

Execute command to add IceWeasel via APT, but version may not match the latest Firefox release.

I've tried Iceweasel on my computer before. I noticed it wasn't setting up correctly on the Pi since I didn't run an @apt-get update first. After updating, it worked smoothly. It performs much better compared to Epiphany or Chromium on the Pi.
