Ideal for connecting devices via an internal USB 3.0 port.
I recently installed a USB PCIe 1x card to give my desktop more USB-C options. It also includes two internal USB 3.0 ports (not headers). Here are some ideas for using USB ports inside your PC: plugging in a USB thumb drive with Windows installers or Nanite, making it read-only for safe formatting, or using it as a ReadyBoost storage. Other possibilities include switching to another operating system, connecting a wireless USB mouse or keyboard dongle, and exploring unique applications. Any other suggestions?
these are designed to link with internal USB devices such as hardware controllers for lights, fans, and pumps.
