For gaming purposes, keep using Windows 7. If your device is designed for basic tasks such as web surfing or document writing and you wish to upgrade its performance, switch to Ubuntu, Linux Mint, or Lubuntu.

After considering the mistake and the guidelines, the sole alternative I have is that your hard drive isn’t working properly and you should get a new one.

RAID also supports ACHI. The OS drive needs to be connected via SATA Port 0 on the device.

The Windows setup guides you through the BIOS during installation and confirms the AHCI setting. You see the installation screen afterward, not before.
