Hello, I have an invisible icon in hidden icons. I can't left or right click on it or anything. It won't appear there right away when I start my PC, it takes a hour or two for it to appear there. Didn't see anything unusual in task manager and I've done a scan using Malwarebytes, Didn't detect anything. After I first noticed the invisible icon, I restarted my PC and re-did everything I did up to that point, to see if an application or something could've launched it but it doesn't seem like it. Could it be a bug? I'm using Windows 10 64bit OS build 19044.2251. Edit: it seems to be a file called "PaceEdenExperienceProxy.exe" Thank you!

I'm reviewing the startup tab and TaskManager for any references to that icon.

I understand this might seem silly, but someone definitely needs to ask.

In Task Manager I can locate "PaceEdenExperienceProx.exe" in the details section (I see an icon there and "PACE License Service under Processes"). However, when I close the task (PaceEden... .exe) I still notice the hidden icon in the icons tray. (It remains active even after ending the task?) I suspect it might be renamed or misnamed, but when I adjust the taskbar settings and choose "Pace Eden Experience Proxy," it doesn’t appear either. I’m certain this invisible icon is called "Pace Eden Experience Proxy." It seems like a bug—it doesn’t show up in the taskbar either. Interestingly, after uninstalling it, I had to reinstall it because certain plugins required it, and the same issue recurs.

ok if you right click it and chose "open file location" which folder does it open? and is it possible there are two or more of these exe files running in taskmanager? well it *is* probably a bug, i would just make sure its in the right file location and also that there arent several of them active... otherwise you may have to contact the makers of this program and ask for a fix.

I looked for the .exe using Everything Search and found only one matching file named "PaceEdenExperienceProxy." It launches at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\PACE\Proxy," showing just "PaceEdenProxy.exe" and "Pace License Service" in Task Manager. Nothing else matches these names. I noticed it appears in the icons tray but not in Task Manager, showing up unexpectedly. I plan to check the task manager location again once it opens and confirm it leads to the same spot.

Absolutely, it's crucial to review TaskManager and those services. As mentioned, there might be a bug, but it also seems quite suspicious.

Reviewed the task manager—it leads to the same spot. Likely a glitch. It’s a tool that manages access for two of my plugins. If I remove it and attempt to run any plugin without it, I receive a message demanding installation. Probably I only realized the hidden icon recently. Appreciate your assistance!
