Im confused as to what southbridge i/o voltage does i got a ds4p that i intend to sell cause stonks , before that ill just steal the hwbot record ofc cause 556fsb stable, 610 max that i can boot into bios which is ok but id like to go higher and theres another giga p45 for 12$ which may be a decent ud board Ive been screwing around with pcie freq cause i wanna see if i can clock it any higher than 105 due to cb scores raising quite abit when pcie is at 105 vs 100 (~6 points), though as soon as i reboot it it just gets no post, and anything above 105 will not post at all, not even 106 pcie so i wanna know how to stabilize high pcie freq without having to run 600+ fsb, ich i/o voltage was something i didnt really mess with and just left at 1.7v so i wanna have a go at raising it, it goes all the way to 2.3v which is quite concerning for me cause for all i know most things related to overvolting the board like northbridge, cpu, etc. Usually have a max safe of 1.7v without degrading to sht so makes me abit weary of pushing 2.3v on ich i/o cause i dont actually wanna murder the southbridge when i dont have the tools to replace one yet Any idea on what southbridge/ich io voltage is connected to and does? Cause there is ich core voltage and im pretty sure thats literally overvolting the southbridge itself and goes to 1.8v which im abit weary of aswell but idk what lithography ich10 is using and im pretty sure its either 90nm or somewhere in the 100 nm range so it can tolerate that volt without degrading to sht And no there are no red zone voltages on ich core or i/o so i only have a rough idea of what sb can tolerate but not the i/o volt. The board allows for upto 2.3v on the cpu which is really concerning so i dont wanna run into another voltage that can instakill something without me knowing it, even worse is the cpu volt not even having a red indicator which concerns me even more
