I'm looking to assemble a build using the i9900K and RT 2080 Super. Motherboard options include Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra, ASUS ROG Maximus XI, Hero, Asus ROG Strix Z390-E, and Gaming. Which one would suit you best?

After considering the board, the savings of $250 on the CPU and $50 on the board bring the price down from $700 for a 2080S to $1000 for a 2080TI.

They're cheaper on the Z390 boards compared to X570. Using a B450 with a 3700x is possible, though it might feel a bit off-balance.

It's a bit surprising to say such a general thing. Looking at what some x570 models provide on certain price ranges, and the B450 with the 3700x, it still feels fair.
