It might help to upgrade to something like the 7800X3D or higher-end models. The current setup works, but I wouldn’t waste time on a CPU upgrade unless you need better performance.

Yes, there will be a slow point in processing. A slow part will always exist. Often the CPU becomes the issue, sometimes the GPU, and occasionally another component. If your concern is whether a major slowdown exists that affects cost, I’d say "no, it’s a good match."

This along with the fact that the 12900kf is a solid component indicates you won't experience much performance issues at all.
